At the seaside

I visited Siikaranta in Meri-Pori Finland. It was a great day to test my D800 in fresh snowy landscapes.

I found out that the viewfinder really has to be closed in long exposure work. Because if I accidentally left the viewfinder open, the image had no contrast and there was a bright white stripe going through the image lower part. Too bad that I only saw this when I came back from the trip.

Here is couple of photos from the seaside trip.

  1. Yep, the D800 requires the viewfinder to be closed or else there is serious light leak. Lovely pictures!

  2. There's something so fascinating about Finland's scenery, no wonder it is such a great source of inspiration.

    Great work as always!

  3. these are so beautiful! I love your work.

  4. Thanks for the comments people!
